Wanted something quick before Bellydancing class. Not the place to go for such situations. Better to sit in as the meals looked lovely. Being vegan made options extremely limited. Decided on soup with no cheese and ended up with very salty tomato water with a small side of deep friend chips and a quarter avocado. It was really hard to consume the salty tomato water. At least the avocado was fresh and tasty. Overall, I was disappointed and do not really have much motivation to return. Oh, I ended up late for class waiting over 20 minutes for the soup.
Great Colombian food! Very tasty and friendly environment.
Excellent service and yummy authentic food.
I don’t recommend the empanadas for pick up. We bought 20 empanadas, and about 15 of them were burnt. Since they are packed in the back, you can’t see how they look.
Good Colombian food for Toronto
Really good food and true Colombian atmosphere. Family-owned. The prices are amazing for the portion sizes. If you want a true Colombian experience, you must get fresh juices with your meal.
My kids love the empanadas. Great friendly staff, excellent customer service, ice cold beers, small yet cozy.
Been there 2 times. Sunday’s around 2pm. Amazing. Amazing 20’times. Fast and friendly service. Food number 1. Soup. Fish. Tacos. Chicken nuggets. All good. Food has great price. Drinks are expensive. Definitely will go as much as I can. Amazing. FYI is rustic and home style. Nothing fancy. Amazing food. Only one item was ok and was arepa. To simple. But the rest amazing
The food is good! Love the Colombian stuff inside, my problem is that the service is slow, I waited 30 minutes for empanadas, and nobody was inside the restaurant so it should of been quicker. I wish you guys would make your service faster. The food is also pricey. Would only go here if you were really hungry
Good Colombian food!!.
one of my favourite restaurants in this part of town. the restaurant itself is fairly small, the service is not that fast, but the atmosphere is great, the servers are friendly and I think that's al part of the experience. the food is well priced and delicious (we often order the mini bandeja paisa or oxtail soup (sancocho de cola)) ad they offer free Colombian coffee. I highly recommend this place!
We ordered: empanadas (meat and chicken), a chimmi and the pork cutlet which were all awesome. However, we took home a piece of tres leches cake which was terrible (somehow it was both dry and wet...).
I wish I could put negative stars. Had to ask for plates and cutlery. Food was cold. I think it's new owners because this place used to be amazing. Well time to find somewhere else to eat.
I ordered the red snapper, but it was very old and hard, the rest was good
Great quality of food, especially the empanadas which were amazing. Prices are a bit much though and service could be more timely.
Great food and service
Great and yummy food. 😋 Beautiful place. ☺
The best Colombian family restaurant. Down to earth, comfortable and delicious. The empanadas are to die for!
Clean afortable quality and quantity delicious.
We were a group of 10 & it was unanimous that we would come back again. Our dinners varied from beef tongue, shrimp in rice, chicken, beef tacos, chicken tacos (not pictured) & meat appetizer platter (not pictured). Good portions, as you can see and all tasted great. Its super casual with picnic tables, small & intimate space. Tried calling to reserve but the answering machine was generic (does not mention restaurant name) - and they did not receive our message. Good thing they had room for us!
Excellent authentic Colombian food. Huge portions.
A piece of colombia served in a plate, you can definitely said itsi taste like home. Cozy place with friendly service worthy the trip to the west side.
Prices are way too high, food is greasy but some of the wait staff are friendly. Up the street is a far more authentic latin american restaurant. Oh! And roaches everywhere!
Ok food ,not sure if it was a bad day for them but my tamal was frozen in the middle and tasted not the greatest. Their soup seemed really off as well. The lady was ok except she only came over to leave food and never checked in as she was on her phone. The older man seemed to be the owner and was rude without speaking as we had a baby with us and she dropped a piece of meat and also the tomatoes she was eating and every time he would stare at us and the floor when we got up as I was going to pick up the 4 items dropped he sent the young girl....to me that was super rude as it's not like we are not paying for service and food and as well I was going to pick up the mess. Very unprofessional
Nice big lunch! Lots of food options, great coffee. If your hungry for a good solid lunch this is the place!
Authentic and very tasty food. The portions are a good size. Also very good service. Wether you like seafood, beef, chicken or liver this is the place to go. You can dine to the beat of merengue in the background. Great atmosphere.
Love this place, go all the time. I enjoy the choriqueso lots of melted cheese and beef. Options for children and adults alike and a good place to go with family or just two.
Very mediocre service.. they brought our dishes separate 30 minutes apart... brought the appetizers after the mains.. by the time my girlfriend was done eating I was just getting started. extremely disappointing. Food was also not that great. And I am Colombian. I will not be coming back. Second time this happens.
Amazing Food and Excellent Service
We stumbled upon this place and thank God we did! Food was delicious!! Portions were huge. Price is great tooOur server was Angle and she was fantastic and so sweet
Picnic tables for a restaurant? With no room in between each table? First impressions usually make it or break it, and this was a bad first impression. Ordered some empanadas and the chicken ones barely had a few strands of chicken meat in them. Flavor was mediocre. Had to use the restroom downstairs and upon getting to the bottom of the stairs, I realized the place had terrible plumbing issues. The stench of city sewer in the entire basement area was overwhelming. This needs to be fixed asap. I would not recommend this place.
Great food, friendly staff, clean environment, reasonable price. Authentic columbian food. Would recommend to go visit. Street parking only
Cozy, tasty tostada. Paisa - Basic, home cooked meal
The food was authentic and fresh, while our server was sweet and friendly. Definitely recommend this place.
I have no idea what authentic Columbian food is.......but I really enjoyed my meal and coffee here.
Colombian and Mexican cuisine. The food is as authentic as it can get. Their Colombian empanadas are amazing - I believe they've made them bigger than what they were before. My favourite dish is Sopa de Mondongo (Tripe soup)...delicious! The owner is very nice and friendly too. It is a bit pricey for comfort food, but it is worth it!
Good foos. Delicious and generous portions. There is Colombian and Mexican dishes.
Amazing authentic Colombian food! Reallu enjoyed what we had
Very good place i love the food and service. I been a client since 2004. I do recomend it.
it’s a good place to eat inside and the food is great only problem is every time i ask for medium rare my steak is well done.
A little bit expensive but it's good and the plate is big.
Great authentic food that tasted really good. The food came out quick and the staff was great. Highly recommend if you live in or are visiting the area.
Amazing food. Good portions are served for a fair price. Recommend it
If you dont see or change the mistake in this picture, you're not authentic.
Parking is a bit of a challenge lol ! Once you make it, you find a small restaurant with great food. Was a great find !At his restaurant, we really had the opportunity to taste the flavors of a land I miss and love much.
Authentic, 100% Paisa dishes. If you are not Colombian, then you will find the food to be full of flavor, rich textures, deliciousness in each and every meal you order. You won't regret eating there. Now if you are Colombian then you will find everything that non-Colombians get plus the memories of your motherland, the smells of your youth, the flavours of your childhood. Spoiler, you may even cry of happiness and nostalgic. That good this place is. The main floor is small, I guess in busy days they open a secondary floor in the basement. Prices won't be as those in McDonald's but you can be sure your food is worth every penny you pay, it's not expensive neither.I totally recommend the empanadas, good size, thin golden crispy crust filled with potato and your choice of beef or chicken. Another heavy hitter is the patacon with carne desmechada (a fried plantin patty with pulled Beef on top) and of course, the BANDEJA PAISA. Plenty of tasty, delicious food.
This place doesn't showes any improvement and contrary of this, you can sense this weir smell coming from downstairs. The whole place seems that is falling apart.
Great Colombian food! Match everything with a beer and you're set to go. ;)
